Hi there! I’m Breanna, a wife of one, mother of two, soon-to-be published author of one book, and writer of over 100 magazine and blog articles a year, mostly on LDS topics. I grew up in Idaho, but now call Texas home, where I cheer for the BYU cougars and read a lot of Young Adult literature. I’m a mother and a Mormon. I stand with the prophets.
A few years ago, as a young mother to a baby girl, I noticed an increase in conversations about the the Church online. I wanted to add my voice to discussions about the Church, the home, and the family. I wanted my daughter to know that her mother stood with the prophets.
To me, standing with the prophets doesn’t mean that I never have questions. What it does mean is that I love the Lord, and I trust Him to answer my questions—often through the living prophet. It means that I doubt my doubts before I doubt my faith. It means I listen to the prophets, pray for understanding, then faithfully obey until I understand perfectly why.
I first started writing about the Church as an intern at the Liahona. While I worked there, I also had articles published in the Ensign and New Era. I now write LDS news online and more personal insights on my blog, Dream Big.
